CLIO ^® CUSTOMER SUPPORT CENTER NOW OPEN:
THE PINAX GROUP EXPANDS OPERATIONS

After its acquisition of Clio ^® in November 2001, The Pinax Group Inc. today announced it has opened their Customer Support Center (CSC) in San Jose, California to service and support the Clio ^® handheld PC companion.

"This is all part of a master plan to not only reestablish the Clio ^® technology as a world leader but to provide the infrastructure to ensure customer loyalty." said Robert Sowah, The Pinax Group Inc.’s Chief Executive Officer. "Since our acquisition of the technology, we’ve taken deliberate strides to expand our operations and build our internal strengths accordingly."

The Pinax Group’s Clio ^® is a three pound, 9" x 11", dual configuration handheld PC-like device that is known for its versatility and its portability. Its unique SwingTop ^® design enables it to function either as a touch-screen tablet with handwriting recognition or as a more traditional notebook with a nearly full-sized keyboard.

The adaptable design is well suited for quick and efficient data capture or for any application that requires a larger screen size than those offered by palm-sized PC’s.
